This cover works really well for me. It slides in and out of your pocket with easy, it protects the shiny back to the iTouch and doesn't cover up the fancy look of the product. I dropped my 2nd gen iTouch about 4 feet onto concrete and the plastic cover snapped off on impact but fully protected the iTouch which was incredible. It does show some scratches after weeks of wear and tear but not enough to make me never get another one.

The cheap price for this item reflects its quality. Item comes in a plastic bag with "Wireless Accessories" and "Made in China" on the bag...it doesn't even identify what company made this item. Shell consists of two parts that snap together. It fit my iPod 2nd Generation, but I didn't notice until I put my iPod Touch in that there was a chip in the case near the opening for the connector and a scratch on the shell. As several prior reviews stated, it is difficult to get the iPod out once put in. Luckily, using a thin screw driver I was able to pry the case off. Very poor quality product, not worth the money you pay for it. I have since ordered to DLO hard shell case. I should have stuck with them as I have one of their hard shells for my 3rd generation iPod Nano. Don't fall for the cheap price.

The protection goes as far as covering the sides and back of the ipod. The feature of snapping the case is much better than a previous clear case i used in which you slid the back on. This would cause scratching to back of the ipod. There is not protection of the screen with this case. Like me you have to use screen protectors or use nothing if you simply don't care to protect your investment. Also some dirt particles creep their way under the protector, but easy to clean off. As far as dropping the ipod with the case on, I am happy to say it can take a hit with the ipod working just fine after impact. The swivel belt clip attachment included is worthless. It broke no more than a day after I used it. As far as price goes it is very cheap. Overall the case itself is what you're paying for and it does its job. Again be sure to have screen protectors if you are going to use this case.

First things first, why would anyone complain about this case? It cost me about $2.40 w/ free shipping. People throw away more than that in food in 3 days. lol :p
I shopped around for about a week before making this my final purchase. I knew I wanted a clear plastic case for extra protection. Of course this doesn't protect the screen on my iTouch......it doesn't state that it does. (Not sure why people expect it to.) I did purchase the Zagg Invisible Screen protector which is amazing! It's like having a rubber film on your screen. I highly recommend getting one! :) I got mine from BestBuy so I paid full price....boo!
I own a 64gb iTouch 3g. I haven't found one single problem with my purchase. The case fits like it's supposed to. Yes, it is hard to remove but that's a good thing. Who wants a protective case that comes off easily. Not me! Simple solution? I use a butter knife wrapped with a thick piece of fabric.....don't use a t-shirt! Something like a sweater then use the back side of the knife in the bottom right corner. It will pop right open without harming the case. (You also need to use some muscle to pop it together...but just for one corner.)
The charger and headphones fit with no problems at all. :)
I'm completely anal about protecting my $500+ investment so I use a silicone case over my hard case when I go out.
As for scratches on the hard case.....who cares. That's why you buy the hard case, so your iTouch / iPhone doesn't get messed up. lol
