For a couple dollars its so worth it to have this. It does fit on the 3g as well as the 3Gs in case you are wondering. It does scratch easier than the iPhone screen itself so you should just buy a couple.
A hint for putting it on without any dust bumps - when you remove it from package immediately put it on the screen but roll it on. Something that I actually found easier was wetting the iPhone screen and placing it on there. Then just push the bubbled out to the closest edge with your fingernails. It you do get dust on it, no worries just put it under warm water and let it dry DONT dry it with a towel because that just negates everything you just did.

this screen protector does not fit my 8gb 3g iphone.. the description title says that it will but it doesnt'.. when i put it lined up with the ear part of my phone it covers up the home button at the bottom of my iphone and if i line it up with my home button and cover up my ear part...
i'm not happy..
cause now i have to pay more to send it back and i purchase a better product!!!!

When you read all the 1-star reviews here, heed them! This is great in concept, but crappy when applied. No need for me to re-hash all the negatives, as they all been listed already. It's not worth the penny you spend on it.

Does not cover the screenJul 08, 2009
A screen protector/cover should fit the entire screen but this one does not. There are sizable gaps on the left and right sides of the iPhone. I purchased a mirrored screen previously from a local vendor and thought I was getting the same one at a better deal here but I was extremely disappointed. The reviews are correct in stating that it is hard to see in the sunlight but the whole point for me was it made my phone look cool so I didn't mind. Mirrored screen protectors are great in my opinion but not this particular brand.

This protector sounds really cool, and looks really cool when you put in on (indoors)but the first time you take it outdoors, the fun ceases.The phone is nearly useless as the mirror works like a shield outdoors, preventing the user from seeing anything behind the protector. If you want to buy this product, I suggest NOT taking the backing off, but instead, just tape the mirror in place, so you can use the phone outside.
