Passable pair of earphonesMay 12, 2009
By Ravi Papaly The earpieces were too big to fit in my ears. They seemed to have been designed for people with large earcanals. While the sound reproduction was quite good, these earphones were utterly useless in any kind of wind.
The mike was better than the standard provided by apple but still left a little to be desired.

Better value, but lower qualityApr 10, 2010
By Alex Not bad for $4-8 + S&H, depending on the seller you get these from. They fit my ears fine, have decent noise cancelling qualities, and are fully functional with my iPhone. Compared to Apple's brand at $30, they're a steal.
That said, don't expect the best sound quality or build quality. Sounds are a bit muffled, like what you get if you use United's earphones to watch movies on the plane. As far as build quality is concerned, there are some glue stains on the outside of the headphone grill. And the cord and earpieces feel flimsier than the Apple alternative. But I've used these for 6wks so far with moderately heavy usage, and have had no problems.
They work. They're 1/4 the price of the Apple brand. 'Nuf said.
