Unfortunately, this review is less about the item in question (namely because I never received it) and more about the company I was attempting to buy it from -- ShopCell.
I ordered the Blackberry vinyl holster in early December and still hadn't received it by late January. Not a huge deal -- these things happen -- but I left a one-star seller feedback saying to that extent.
Today I was contacted by a ShopCell customer service representative (Leiana? Leilani?) who told me that ShopCell wouldn't ship the item to me until I removed my negative review. When I explained that I'd be delighted to remove my negative feedback when I ACTUALLY RECEIVED the item, she said they they wouldn't UNTIL I removed the negative review. Seriously. So we went back and forth like this until I finally got fed up and just asked them to refund my money. At which point... the woman said she wouldn't do so until I removed the negative feedback!
I find it entirely ridiculous that ShopCell blackmails you into leaving them positive feedback so that you might receive the items you've ALREADY PAID FOR.
Avoid ShopCell at all costs!!!

Great product! I love how this sleeve helps preserve the battery life on my Blackberry Curve by shutting the screen off once its inserted. Also... it keeps me from but dialing and i don't have to deal with locking up the phone!

My daughter worked for one of the big cell phone companies. When she told me their mark-up, I decided to look to the Internet. I found this on Amazon, at about 20% of the cell phone company price. I recommend anyone wanting any cell phone items, including batteries, to first go to Amazon.com

It worked great, but like to note that the case that I recieved was for the newer blackberry's or this one was a little big. My phone fits in the case but the case is a little big and sticks up over the top of the phone a little bit.

With all the high-design phone cases out there, this leather pocket is the picture of simplicity: just a plain leather sleeve. The Blackberry slides in the top; the phone turns off. Power is saved, and if carried in the back pants pocket, your butt won't be placing any calls. The case is exactly what it needs to be.
