this would be a fantastic purchase if the connector fit thru the protective case i have for my iPhone. thankfully inexpensive and "throw away" capable, i have to now either buy a completely NEW extra charger or labor thru taking off the protective each time (daily) that i need to recharge my phone. i would ONLY recommend this if you are daring enough to never put a protective cover on your iPhone

never worked for me, I would try to get my money back but it's like 6 bucks...I work full time and go to school full time and don't want to take my free time to take care of stuff like this. Spend the extra money, you'll be pleased.
DOES NOT WORK WITH LATEST 3G iPHONE!Feb 12, 2009

Apple has been changing the power requirements with each release and this product may supply an incorrect voltage for the latest 3G iPhone like mine... this product only discharges my 3G iPhone. However, it works quite fine with iPods.
Thankfully, the vendor supplied a full refund to resolve the issue. However, buy a more expensive product.
